To co przysłałeś w logu jednoznacznie wskazuje na błąd związany z
app_info.xml (a dokładniej z błędną identyfikacją platformy) -
wersja klienta BOINC TEORETYCZNIE nie powinna mieć na to wpływu. I
teraz bardzo ważna kwestia, czy te kompy, które łączą się
prawidłowo też używaja aplikacji zoptymalizowanej? Bo to byłby
bardzo ważny ślad w próba zrozumienia co tak naprawdę się tutaj
dzieje.
Na nowszych wersjach BOINC wydaje się, że chwilowo trzeba
zrezygnować ze zoptymalizowanej aplikacji, bo oryginalna aplikacja
dostaje unity bez problemów.
Być może problem rozwiązałby downgrade serwera setiathome do
wersji 5.08 (obecnie jest 5.09) ale na razie nie podjęli takiej
decyzji. Jeśli jednak downgrade BOINC rozwiązuje problem, to
zapewne istnieje lepsze rozwiązanie tego problemu.
A zatem, czy na tych starszych boincach też liczysz
zoptymalizowana aplikacją (i którą)? Możesz sam otworzyć ticket na
trac'u,

Problem "ghost units" jest znany i związany własnie z tym, że
nastepuje błędne rozpoznanie platformy, na którymś z etapów.

Den 16. november 1974 sendte astronomen Frank Drake og Carl Sagan et
prřvebudskab fra Arecibo-radioteleskopet til de 300.000 stjerner i den
kugleformede stjernehob M13 i Herkules 24.000 lysĺr borte.
Meddelsen, der blev udsendt pĺ 12,6 cm's břlgelćngde, indeholdt 1.679
digitale impulser, som kunne arrangeres i et billede (pictogram) udfra

Punkt 1.
At videreformidle grundvidenskablige *unikke* oplysninger, som en
udenjordisk civilisation mange lysĺr borte INGEN mulighed har for at
fremskaffe pĺ anden mĺde pga. de kolossale store afstande i rummet.
Det vil sige, at signalet řnskes udsendt (fra vort solsystem og evt. omegn)
fra et radio-fyrtĺrn (nĺr dette kan lade sig gřre).
Her er det dog BIDENDE nřdvendigt, at signalet kan forstĺs af andre
intelligente vćsener, hvorfor test-programmet er offentliggjort mhp. et
*bevis* desangĺende ... :-)
Punkt 2.
Pĺ baggrund af punkt 1 at *simulere* et indkomment intelligent
signal/budskab fra rummet (fra en udenjordisk civilisation) og herigennem
pĺvise HVORDAN vi kan forvente et sĺdant signal.
Sĺfremt dette kan pĺvises, da kan vi ogsĺ her-ud-af konkludere, *hvorfor* vi
TILSYNELADENDE endnu ikke har modtaget et radiosignal fra det ydre rum.
Forklaringen herpĺ er for mig at se ganske enkel og logisk, men vi mangler
det videnskablige *bevis*, som fřrst kan dokumenteres, nĺr
SETI-test-programmet er blevet knćkket.

Opbygningen af SETI-test-programmets pulser:
Programmet er et digitalt signal pĺ ialt 5472 bit (684 bytes).
(Programmet er dog en anelse lćngere, bestĺende af bl.a. et 3-D (Galaxic)
"phone"-number. Denne del af koden er ĺben og behřves derfor ikke at blive
knćkket).
Lys- og/eller Radio-fyrtĺrn
SETI-test-programmet kan sendes direkte ligesom Drake gjorde til fx. M13,
men ulempen er her, at man i sĺ fald er TVUNGET til at sende bit-for-bit
*uden* komprimering.
Benyttes derimod et lys- og/eller radio-fyrtĺrn kan signalet *komprimeres* 8
gange, dvs. fra 1-bit til 8-bit (1 byte), samtidig med at man udsender sit
budskab til MANGE positioner pĺ himlen, fx. hele Mćlkevejen, hvor
hovedparten af stjernerne (og dermed - hypotetisk set - mulighed for
biologisk liv) befinder sig i vor galakse.
Ulempen er her dog, at modtageren KUN modtager éet signal af gangen, og
ventetiden (uden signal) kan vćre meget lang, fx. en hel uge ... :-(
Éet enkelt signal kan meget let *forveksles* med baggrundsstřj, men dette
problem kan afbřdes ved at montere 3 sendere pĺ parabolen (forskudt i
forhold til hinanden), sĺledes at nĺr fyrtĺrnet drejer rundt udsendes fx.

Właściwie to zasadniczy powód awarii został już usunięty. Projekt
już wysyła jednostki tylko bardzo mało, więc cięzko się załapać.
Jest bardzo duża kolejka oczekujących i coś tam jeszcze w bazie
jest nie tak, tak że tak jak pisałem najbliższej nocy powinno
powoli zacząć to działać normalnie, przy czym przez kilka dni
będzie trudno, bo jest olbrzymia ilośc hostów w kolejce po unity
oraz próbujacych odesłac dane.
Jeśli sie niecierpliwisz, może przyłącz się do bety? Tam tez jest
wolniej niż normnalnie, ale ludzi mniej więc i kolejki mniejsze.

Wersja 5.10 osiagnęła jak się wydaje zadowalającą stabilnośc i choć chyba
nie będzie to jeszcze wersja rekomendowana, to można się przesiąść bez
jakiegoś większego ryzyka.
Tylko uwaga na przypadek kiedy ktoś sie przesiada z wersji 32-bitowej na
64-bitową. najpierw warto doliczyć do końca bieżące unity, bo inaczej pójdą
one w kosmos. Zarówno pod windami jak i linuksami.
Na wiście kontrola konta uzytkownika na razie nie będzie puszczać BOINC'a
(no chyba że się ją wyłączy), więc trzeba będzie go ręcznie uruchamiać. To
się zmieni w najbliższym czasie.
